Mutima’s work is rooted in the belief that love, care and a sense of safety can help people heal and communities grow stronger.

I wanted the website to reflect that spirit through a visual language that felt warm, joyful and full of life. Inspired by African textiles and patterns, I created a series of bespoke backgrounds that fill the experience with vibrant colours, rhythm and optimism.

Rather than taking a clinical approach to a sensitive subject, the design celebrates the humanity at the heart of Mutima’s mission. The website was also built to be managed by the team themselves, giving them the freedom to update their content and communicate their work independently.
