Working with Dom and Steve, I was initially brought in to design and build a new website for Red C Villas, a desert retreat where architecture, nature and hospitality come together.
As the project took shape, my role naturally grew beyond the website. I found myself refining the existing visual identity, art-directing new photography, making the video content for the website and bringing the different elements together to create a more cohesive experience, one that feels as considered as the place itself.

Building on the original logo design by the talented Carmen, I refined the identity and expanded it into a complete family of logo variations and glyphs. Alongside this, I developed the colour palette, icon set and typography, bringing everything together into a cohesive visual identity inspired by the surrounding landscape.
This visual language carries through to the website, where generous space, considered typography and strong photography let the villas take centre stage, while keeping the experience effortless, from exploring the accommodation and amenities to booking a stay.
I also art-directed a new series of photographs to complement Graeme Fordham’s existing library, capturing how the property had evolved into a lush desert oasis, from the refurbished pool and sauna to the architectural details that make the place special.

A truly fantastic website. I am very pleased with the look and the results. The photos are excellent, the design is great, it truly captures our essence, and it feels like the Villas.
