Shaping the Future of Professional Scuba Diving

Dom’s absolute passion is teaching diving. As a PADI course director, he has established IDC DIVE to educate a new generation of scuba diving professionals.

Katuak's mission was to handle a complete branding project and take care of everything needed:

  • LOGO: a bold and personal font-based logo

  • MASCOT: an octopus was the obvious choice, and if you have the chance to scuba dive with Dom, with his dreadlocks waving around his head, you will agree

  • WEBSITE: an inspiring website full of practical information not only about the courses he offers, but also tools to better understand dive theory, and how to be the best instructor you can be.

  • BRANDING & VISUAL GUIDE: including typography, brand assets, patterns, and everything needed to maintain a coherent and cool look across all platforms.

  • PHOTOGRAPHY: it’s always a pleasure to dive in and capture moments with such a skilled and passionate diving team.

Dom always says that "introducing people to the stunning reefs of the Red Sea is a privilege". At Katuak, we believe that the real privilege has been branding his vision.

Website Designed for Gen Z, but Perfect for Everyone

IDC DIVE is more than just a place to get certified—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of professional divers. Focused mainly on Gen Z, especially those taking a Gap Year, the IDC DIVE website is designed with them in mind: quick, mobile-friendly, visually engaging, and full of personality. At the same time, it’s built to be simple and easy to use for everyone, no matter the age.


  • Mobile-First, Always: IDC DIVE’s website is optimized for mobile from the start. Fast loading, big tappable buttons, smooth scrolling, and intuitive navigation make the experience seamless. No clutter, no endless sliders—just a clean, straightforward design that’s easy to navigate while you’re on the go.

  • Personal & Authentic: real stories and honest content. Featuring photos of Dom and the team, it gives you an unfiltered look at life behind the scenes. Raw, unpolished photos—think instant polaroids with captions that feel like they were written by a friend, making the site feel real, approachable, and totally relatable. Gap Year Campaing

To aim for a wider market, including gap years, adventure breaks and sabbaticals, Dom decided to launch a combined social media and print marketing campaign.IDCDIve is offering an exciting opportunity for those taking time off from school or work to dive into a new career or passion. Their goal is to promote IDC-DIVE in dive shops and swimmingpools in London and that way be able to reach new markets.
