IDC DIVE

Dom’s absolute passion is teaching diving. As a PADI course director, he has established IDC DIVE to educate a new generation of scuba diving professionals.

Katuak's mission was to handle a complete branding project and take care of everything needed:

  • LOGO: a bold and personal font-based logo
  • MASCOT: an octopus was the obvious choice, and if you have the chance to scuba dive with Dom, with his dreadlocks waving around his head, you will agree
  • WEBSITE: an inspiring website full of practical information not only about the courses he offers, but also tools to better understand dive theory, and how to be the best instructor you can be.
  • BRANDING & VISUAL GUIDE: including typography, brand assets, patterns, and everything needed to maintain a coherent and cool look across all platforms.
  • PHOTOGRAPHY: its always a pleasure to plan and execute a few photo sessions with such a talented diving team.

Dom always says that "introducing people to the stunning reefs of the Red Sea is a privilege". At Katuak, we believe that the real privilege has been branding his vision.

IDC DIVE trains the next generation of PADI professional scuba divers, teaching water skills and diving theory. Dom envisions his website as a reference not only for his future students but also for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge of diving theory. For that reason, IDC DIVE is a knowledge-based website that provides current information about the courses and a comprehensive guide to diving theory.

We have chosen to use a split layout design for the interior pages. This design includes a fixed image on the left third of the screen to contrast with scrolling content on the opposite side.

Promotion
Gap Year Campaing

To aim for a wider market, including gap years, adventure breaks and sabbaticals, Dom decided to launch a combined social media and print marketing campaign. His goal to promote IDC-DIVE in dive shops and swimmingpools in London and that way be able to reach new markets.
