Elgaards Time Out

Time Out is a program created for SPORT LIVE, a 100% Danish sports channel that covers a wide variety of sports and sporting events not usually seen on TV. The show, hosted by Claus Elgaard, includes interviews with prominent figures in Danish sports, providing deep personal insights over a cup of coffee.

To increase SPORT LIVE's visibility, orange was a must for the new program’s colour palette. I combined orange with yellow and grey to ensure it grabs the necessary attention.

For the logo, I chose a serif font with rounded outlines. I used a limited amount of orange to create a striking contrast against the dark grey letters.

In the opening titles, orange was given more prominence. I used lines and geometric shapes to evoke the composition style of Richard Mortensen, the father of Danish Abstract art.
