Katuak is the creative studio of Elvira Domenech, based in Denmark. I am responsible for the personal data processing described in this policy under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish data protection law.

I've deliberately kept this website simple and privacy-friendly. I don't use advertising trackers, build visitor profiles or collect personal information just to see who's passing through. My aim is to let you explore my work without unnecessary tracking or distractions.
Like any website, Katuak.com needs to process some technical information to deliver pages and keep things running. This may include information such as your IP address and browser or device details, which can be processed by the services that host and deliver the website. That technical processing is different from collecting information to track you for advertising.
Contact and website visits
You can browse my portfolio without submitting personal information directly to me.
If you send me an email or use the contact form, I'll receive the information you choose to share, usually your name, email address and message about your project. I use this information to reply to your enquiry, answer your questions, discuss potential projects and communicate with you if we decide to work together. I don't sell your personal information, and contacting me doesn't sign you up for a newsletter or marketing emails. Nobody needs more of those!

I've intentionally designed this website to work without non-essential cookies. No marketing, statistical or preference cookies are used as part of my current setup.
I also avoid unnecessary third-party tracking tools and embedded services. For example, I use Framer's built-in analytics, which is documented as operating without cookies or persistent identifiers.

Fonts, images and videos
I aim to keep the website lightweight and avoid unnecessary third-party embeds, such as standard YouTube embeds or Google Fonts, where possible.
Please note: If you follow external links to original video platforms, those destinations operate under their own privacy policies.
Hosting
Framer
katuak.com is built and hosted on Framer. Framer delivers the website to your browser and provides the built-in analytics described above.
Framer may process technical information as part of hosting, delivering and maintaining the website. Its own service terms and data-protection arrangements govern the relevant processing.
Bluehost
My email is hosted by Bluehost, which I also use to host some of the videos displayed on the website. When you contact me, your message is delivered to my email account through Bluehost. When you watch a video hosted there, your browser requests the video file from Bluehost. These requests involve technical connection data, including your IP address.
I rely on these services to operate the website, deliver videos and communicate with you. To know more about their services and hor they process personal data I recomend to read their own service terms and data-protection arrangements in the following links.
I use personal data only for clear and relevant purposes:

Discuss potential projects and prepare proposals.
Communicate with you and deliver work if we decide to collaborate.
